Archivist Craig Fees writes: "The Archive and Study Centre is in a small village at the foot of the Cotswolds. Before the footpaths were closed in the foot and mouth outbreak of 2001, I occasionally walked or even jogged across the fields to and from. By the time the footpaths re-opened, the school run and latterly the taking-to-work run made the car essential. Now, with both children settled away, at least for the moment, I can walk to work again. It has been a beautiful week to begin. Oh for more than a phone camera:"
And return in the evening
And then the finds!
