Evening: Wild blackberries, alive with bees, so loud I am stopped in my walk home.
But turn the volume up for this video, and the next.
Mid-day: The River Isbourne runs behind the Archive and Study Centre.
What can be better than stopping to stand in the river, in the rain?
Morning: For this, it's best to turn the volume down. The morning chorus of cattle is rich and beautiful, but not as delicate as rain on running water, and pollinating bees. But no less wonderful.
I've realised that the balance of the walks to work and back are on being; and the balance at work on doing. Sometimes fierce doing! Like the bees in the evening video. I wonder how archives are perceived from the outside? Mid-day? Morning?
