Our archivist, Craig Fees, writes: "Archives are wonderful things. No two forays into them are the same.
"A walk to work through the same landscape changes every time. The walk pictured here was phenomenal. The photographs are as they came from the phone, except for the close-up on the owl in flight, which is a magnifed version of the photograph before it; and they are in sequence, in the order photographed: In the Archive there is a special quality to going through a file sequentially, item by item: seeing how typefaces and handwriting, and paper type, colour and density, and even the placement of paperclips and the rust-ghosts of past paperclips and staples interact, and change, and carry meaning."
Some days it takes longer to get to work than others.
