£50,000: A year in the life and work of the Archive

£7,500 : Catalogue a Collection: An archivist, as well as archival boxes, sleeves and other archival materials, for three months: cataloguing, processing, and preservation of one or more archive collections

£6,000 : A fully residential 'Archive Weekend' for up to 12 people from one or more therapeutic communities

£2,500: Catalogue a Collection Lite: An archivist, as well as archival boxes, sleeves and other archival materials, for one month: cataloguing, processing, and preservation of one or more archive collections

£500 : Adopt a bay. There are 159 bays of shelving in the archive and library (That's a lot!). Help us to continue our work of storing and preserving and looking after archive, oral history and library collections by adopting a bay of shelving for a year. [Adopt for life option: £5,000]

£400 : Create History: A recorded oral history interview, including travel, recording, transcription, and follow-through

£200 : Adopt an interview: Enables us to transcribe, seek permissions, process, catalogue, create listening copies and store a 90 minute recorded oral history interview or event recording.

£100 : Adopt a shelf. There are 955 shelves in the archive and library (That's also a lot!). Help us to continue our work of storing and preserving archive, oral history and library collections by adopting a shelf for a year. [Adopt for life option: £1,500]

£100 : Preserve History: Enables us to transcribe a 90 minute oral history interview

£90 : Preserve History: Sponsors high-quality digitisation of up to 400 feet (3 to 7 inch reels) of 8mm to 16mm film in our collections

£65 : Conservation: Allows us to purchase 100 high quality archival file folders for housing archives

£50 : Sponsor a thesis or dissertation: Allows us to search for and buy bound copies of appropriate theses and dissertations for use in the Library as they emerge from universties and colleges around the world each year.

£40 : Preserve History: High-quality digitisation of a VHS, Betamax, or other videotape in our collections

£20 : Conservation: Allows us to buy 50 archival polyester sleeves for photographs and graphic materials

£20 : Sponsor a search: The Archive and Study Centre responds to several hundred queries and hosts and services numerous researchers each year. It does not charge for these services. Your £20 helps to defray the cost of an hour of search or researcher-support by the Archive.

£12 : Conservation: Allows us to purchase one  high quality archival cubic-foot storage box, or two high quality archival flat document cases, for holding archives.davidk davidclark001

£7.50 : Catalogue a book. Enables us to clean, number, and add up to three books from our collections into our digital cataloguing database.

£5 : Preserve history: Supports digitisation of an audio-cassette, mini-cassette, or micro-cassette audio recording.

£1 : Adopt a Gig: Sponsor a gigbyte of digital storage for a year.

Variable: Sponsor a journal. Among the cutbacks following 2005 were subscriptions to academic and professional journals such as History of Psychiatry, History of the Behavioural Soiences, Psychiatric Bulletin, Residential Treatment for Children and Youth. Nominate and sponsor an essential title our Library should have.
